Committed  is the story of a 40-something couple in Alabama who are given superhuman powers -- as well as a charge to save the world. The novel is being published on the arkirby.com site in episodic form. New episodes are published weekly, generally on Fridays, but hey, you never know.

In addition to the online novel, arkirby.com also features a collection of other writings by Kirby, a freelance writer and former journalist based in Birmingham, Alabama. Offerings on the site include political commentary, philosophical observations, and essays on life in general, as well as the author's blog and links to a variety of sites of interest.
